Summer Laker Performance 2019

The Laker Performance program is offered to all Prior Lake athletes Girls and Boys grades 7th -12th over the summer months. We offer many different programs to meet the needs of all of our athletes based upon both age and commitment level. The goal of our Strength & Conditioning Program is to provide athletes the best opportunity to improve their athletic performance over the summer. Athletes will train safely, consistently, sensibly, and motivated by other teammates as well as members from the Laker Coaching Staff.


Summer Sessions 2019

*Summer Sessions are determined by GRADE level for Fall of 2019 – No Exceptions


Girls Sessions – 7th grade through 12th grade – 7:00 am to 8:30 am Monday through Thursday

Session #1 – Girls Group – Grades 7th, 8th, 9th

Session #2 – Girls Group – Grades 10th, 11th, 12th

Boys Sessions – 10th grade through 12th Grade – 8:30 am to 10:00 am Monday through Thursday

Session #3 – Boys Football Group – Grades 10th, 11th, 12th

Session #4 – Boys All Sports Group – Grades 10th, 11th, 12th

Boys Sessions – 7th/8th Grade and 9th Grade – 10:00 am to 11:30 am Monday through Thursday

Session #5 – 7th/8th Grade Boys Group – Grades 7th/8th

Session #6 – 9th Grade Boys Group – 9th Grade

Coaching/Attendance – Andrew Kurkowski


All Sessions - June 10th to July 25th - MSHSL Black-out Dates – OPTIONAL Training week of July 1st – 5th and First Two weeks in August


With payment ($130.00)

1. Laker Performance T-Shirt (For Athlete’s That Finish program)

2. Use of the weight room during Laker Performance hours, plus use of the weight room at any other time and open dates in August

3. Instruction and Motivation from Qualified Coaches who are directly involved with Prior Lake Athletics

4. Team bonding and motivation with other Prior Lake Athletes – TEAM Training = LAKER PRIDE


Laker Performance Attendance - These are attendance-based program. PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH US.


Laker Performance is a commitment and to get the most benefit out of it, athletes need to be here. We train under an athletic weight training philosophy, which focuses on a core group of exercises. To enhance our training, we will spend the first part of each day focusing on speed/agility or core/flexibility workouts and athletes will finish with strength training alternating upper body and lower body lifts.
