Overview
During this COVID-19 Pandemic, we need to re-evaluate how we function day to day in a Strength & Conditioning environment. Our number one priority is how can we maintain a safe environment for athletes and coaches while still being able to run our training program. We feel we have a plan in place where we can successfully do this and ensure we are using best practice to keep everyone safe. This proposal was developed through recommendations from ISD 719, MSHSL, CDC and the NFHS. Training sessions may look a little different, but every precaution will be taken into account for the Winter of 2021

Laker Performance is a commitment and to get the most benefit out of it, athletes need to be here. We train under an athletic weight training philosophy, which focuses on a core group of exercises. To enhance our training, we will spend the first part of each day focusing on speed/agility or core/flexibility workouts and athletes will finish with strength training alternating upper body and lower body lifts.
